Results of the US War in Afghanistan
The true test of what the war has done is in the results of the aftermath. Although we may not be completely over, the US is beginning to wind down its efforts and man power. So, what’s been achieved for the Afghan people? What has the USA achieved?
The end result seems to be simply more hatred of the United States, tremendous economic waste, and needless loss of life. Read this BBC article, that of course has gotten little American press attention.

My response to this, is as follows: What should we have done after 9/11? Bake some cookies and prepare milk and ask Al Qaeda and the Taliban to attend a Milk and Cookies summit and have a pajama party with us while we tell them sorry we’re such jerks in the world and please don’t attack us again?
We executed most of the Afghan war incorrectly in my opinion. Whether we like it or not, there will ALWAYS be societies in the world that hate us because of our beliefs, and no amount of coddling or giving them money and doing nation building will change it….there will still be scumbags that will take our money and assistance and then stab us in the back the first chance they get. Recent events, in my opinion prove this out.
